About Margaret Anderson

Margaret E. Anderson

Margaret Anderson brings to the table decades of actual use of the consensus skills she teaches, as well as many years of teaching her own curricula in consensus building and related communication skills.

A Harvard-trained negotiator, Margaret is also trained in general and church mediation. She regularly designs and teaches interpersonal persuasion courses for Rice University’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. She has also designed and taught meeting facilitation for Glasscock and has lectured for the University of Houston and for Texas State University. Some of her classes have been taped and broadcast as part of the University of Houston’s distance learning program. Prior to launching her training and consulting business, Margaret gained experience in international and domestic business and was instrumental in resolving a number of serious disputes.

Margaret’s training and consulting clients include religious congregations, corporations, professional organizations, and individual leaders and professionals. She is a Unitarian Universalist and author of Bridges to Consensus—in Congregations.
